Chakra Healing & Balancing

Chakra is a word that comes from Sanskrit that translates into “spinning wheel.”  Chakras are spinning vortexes of energy that look like wheels and lie on the front of your spine. Each chakra spins inward from the front of the body to the center point of the chakra, then spins outward from the same point.

About the Chakras

Chakras begin at the base of the spine and travel up through the head on the kunilini and are located essential on the top of the spinal column. There are seven primary chakra points and several smaller (nearly 100) secondary chakras. The secondary chakras are referred to as meridians and are the points for acupuncture/acupressure and Reiki work, among other energy healing methods to attune Chi (or life) flow. The secondary chakras are tied with action and physicality.

The seven primary chakras are aligned with emotions and spirituality. They are strong influencers on your health. Imbalances can cause health concerns and are caused by an unbalance in the chakra itself, whether it is emotional or spiritual. The imbalances can manifest as physical ailments.

Each chakra corresponds to a specific body system: secretion/elimination, reproductive, digestive, circulatory, respiratory and sensory. The seventh charka, corresponding to the brain, is represents each being as a whole.

Each of the primary chakras corresponds to a different color: the base (secretion) is red, reproductive is orange, digestive (solar plexus) is yellow, circulatory (heart) is red, respiratory (throat) is blue, third eye is indigo (dark blue) and the third eye (crown) is white.

Vibrations of the Chakra

Every chakra is attuned to a different vibrational frequency, symbol, color and sound. When a charka is balanced, it emits its own unique vibration.

Balanced chakras are essential for optimal health, both spiritually and physically. Blocked and unbalanced chakras can lead to illness.  

Chakras can be balanced through colors, vibrations, sounds and oils.

Roxanne uses Chakra oils and Reiki to balance her clients’ chakras. Sessions typically take up to an hour and are done either at Roxanne’s home studio or at select locations (restrictions and travel fees apply).

Chakra oils are also available for purchase. These oils are 100% organic and have been pressed with Mr. Ibrahim’s own hand in his shop, located in Giza (Mena Village).
